A huge congratulations to our 2024 Car Draw winner, Pearse Farrelly, who opted for the €15,000 and was presented with his cheque this morning (30/12/2024) by Chairperson, Dermot Monaghan and Treasurer, Maureen Gilsenan! A tale of luck and coincidences: on St. Stephen’s Night Lorcan Fox realised he still had a book of car draw tickets to sell, so headed to Farrellys for a few pints and to sell a few tickets. Pearse was also having a few and realised he hadn’t bought a ticket yet, so bought one, and that ticket made its way down to the Show Hall, was placed in the drum, went for a good few swirls around, and pulled out by Peter Galligan just after 8pm!






Tom and Cepta, Niall and all Tommy Farrellys have been great supporters of the club for many years, so we are delighted to have Pearse as our lucky winner, and wish him all the best with his prize!






Lorcan was also delighted, this being his first time selling the top-prize winner, and he was presented with the seller’s prize of €100.






Once again, thank you to everyone who bought a ticket to our draw, if you weren’t lucky this year we will do it all again next year and hopefully you will then! And of course, a huge thank you to all our ticket sellers, we couldn’t do it without you!
