Another win for U15s

Oldcastle 6-20, Dunshaughlin 1-03

A trip to Dunshaughlin for the U15s this afternoon (03/07/2021) resulted in another good win for the team. Playing with the wind in the first half, they were vastly superior to the opposition, and a combination of a strong defence and accurate forwards saw the opposition kept scoreless, the halftime score Oldcastle 3-19, Dunshaughlin 0-00.

The second half continued in a similar fashion, Oldcastle dominating every position and clamping down every Dunshaughlin attempt. With eight of the Oldcastle lads getting on the scoreboard and Jamie Pakenham scoring a hat-trick, there was no redemption for the home team, and the Oldcastle lads came away with a big win, putting a smile on the faces of coaches Paddy GIlsenan, John Caffrey and Lorcan Fox.

Next Saturday sees the lads take on Duleek/Bellewstown in Millbrook.
