Wicklow no match for Meath on the day
Meath 8-22 Wicklow 1-3
Meath proved far too strong for Wicklow in their Rd.1 game of the Gerry Reilly U-16 FT played in Millbrook, Oldcastle on Sunday afternoon (3 July). They went on to lead at the break by 4-11 to a point. There was simply no way back for Wicklow on the day. Meath will obviously find the going much tougher when they take on Louth next weekend in Rd.2.
Meath’s Dylan Garrigan received the ‘Man of the match’ award.
