U16’s victory keeps them in contention

Oldcastle 3-17 Castletown/Rathkenny 4-5

The Oldccastle U-16 Girls kept themselves in contention of honours in the Div.2 FL with an impressive second half display in their win over Castletown/Rathkenny this evening (16/04/2019) in Millbrook. The game was played in ideal conditions and just a point separated the sides at the break.
Oldcastle now play Gaeil Colmcille on Sunday morning in Grangegodden at 11.00 am in a crucial game which could have a bearing on the pairings  for the Div.2 Cup Final.
