St Oliver’s qualify for the N.Leinster SFC Final

St Oliver Post Primary 0-16 St Peter’s College, Dunboyne 1-6
St Peter’s played with the strong wind in the first half of the N.Leinster ‘B’ SFC semi-final played today in Millbrook and led at the break by 0-6 to 0-3. St Oliver’s defence played a strong part in keeping the difference between the sides to just 3 points.
On the restart, St Oliver’s soon had the sides level and went on to stretch their lead to 6 points before St Peter’s got their only score of the second half. St Oliver’s quickly replied with 4 points on the trot.
It was always going to be a game of 2 halves with the strong wind, and that’s what it proved to be.

St Oliver’s now play the winners of Gallen CS, Ferbane v St. Joseph’s, Drogheda  (the other Semi-Final scheduled  for this Thursday @ 12.30 pm in St Loman’s, Mullingar (Astro Turf)) in the final.
