Oldcastle GFC AGM report
The Oldcastle GFC AGM took place this evening (10/01/2025) in the Show Hall. A big crowd were in attendance, and we thank you all for coming along and contributing. The meeting started with a minute’s silence for those we lost during the year, and a prayer in their honour, led by Club President Peter Galligan.
Club Secretary, Ealma Purcell gave a comprehensive report of all club activity for 2024, followed by the Treasurer’s report from Maureen Gilsenan. A detailed breakdown of the massive amounts of money that it takes to fund and run the club, as every year, Maureen had everything detailed down to the last penny.
Chairperson, Dermot Monaghan had a detailed look back at his second year in the Chair, maybe not the success we wanted on the football field but still much to be positive about, and a new year and new possibilities await.
Oldcastle GFC looks forward as always with optimism: roll on 2025!
