Minors too strong for Dunshaughlin B

The U17s travelled to meet the Dunshaughlin B team this evening (29/06/2021), in what turned out to be a very mismatched match, with the home team scoring only a solitary point to Oldcastle’s 4-14 in the first half. Even a rejig of the Oldcastle players in the second-half wasn’t much help to the opposition, but it did lead to some interesting positions rather than the usual for the lads! It also saw goalie Eoin Muldoon have a 100% kick-out accuracy for most of the match, he then vacated goals and scored what must have been the goal of the game after running the length of the pitch! It all added up to a final score of Oldcastle 9-19, Dunshaughlin 0-09.

Congratulations also to our dual star/U15/U17 player Paul Hennessy who has been selected to the Meath U15 Hurling Panel.

The next match is against Wolfe Tones in Millbrook next Tuesday night.
