A great game in prospect between Meath & Leitrim on Sunday

The weather forecast is looking great for the Michael Reynolds Memorial Cup on this Sunday at 2pm in Millbrook, Oldcastle. The Meath and Leitrim Senior teams will compete for this coveted trophy. Both teams will be using the game as a preparation for the NFL in 2019.

From when Michael moved from his native Aughavas in Leitrim to Oldcastle in 1972, ’til his untimely death in 2013, he was an integral part of Oldcastle Gfc and the community in general. He is missed every day, and will never be forgotten. We would love to see a huge crowd in Millbrook both to see a great game of football, and to honour one of Oldcastle Gfc’s greatest stalwarts,
