Seniors draw with Syddan to start their league campaign

Oldcastle 3-12 Syddan 1-18 Oldcastle drew with Syddan in the Rd.2 fixture of the AFL Div 2 game played today (3 Feb.2018) in Syddan. It was Oldcastle’s first game to be played in this year’s league. (Report later)

U-21’s bowed out of this year’s championship in the dense fog in Ballinlough

Gaeil Colmcille 3-10 Oldcastle 2-12 Gaeil Colmcille’s injury time point from a 45 gave them victory over Oldcastle in the game played this evening in fog bound Ballinlough. Spectators had to listen to reactions from the players in determining if there was a score, the fog was that bad.
